Indian Whistlers' Association(IWA)
Where Whistling comes alive
Indian Whistlers' Association was founded by Mr.Rigveda Deshpandey-the Maverick Whistler on 19th Sept, 2004(when 18yr old).
It is by an Indian, for everybody interested in whistling and Indian music. This group was formed to find whistlers all over India and get them on a single platform to promote whistling as a "Mainstream Performing Art" and improve the way it is seen in India.
We have started having live "whistling concerts" in major Indian cities and meeting new whistlers and are being highly appreciated.
